A Pura Vida experience that you'll never forget. I've been twice now and each visit has been the highlight of our stay in Costa Rica. There's nothing fancy here, but the experience is as authentic as it gets and the hosts could not be more hospitable. It feels like you are being invited into the host's home because you literally are--they welcome you with open arms and are proud to show off their mountaintop property and teach you all you want to know about coffee-making and farming. "Esteban, the owner of the property, shows so much pride in what he does. He loves talking about his heritage and how his family has been in the coffee industry for generations. It was really great to learn how coffee was grown and processed. We even got to try the fresh coffee and enjoyed a home made meal while enjoying amazing views. Esteban Fallas coffee is one of the best coffee you can get while in Costa-Rica. Esteban grows his own coffee beans on his beautiful farm up the hill and all the process starting from growing, picking up the coffee beans, drying, de-pulping, roasting, to the delicious coffee served in a freshly brewed cup is home-made and carefully prepared. Oh, did I mention the love he pours into crafting and producing his own coffee? The love for what he does is abundant!
